15mm is proven

The leaking MDPE pipework was replaced today by 15mm.  It took no more than 10 mins to change the whole thing and it was immediately water tight.  I am very pleased with this.  It confirms the way to go and especially as the 15mm push fit is WRAS approved.

The new hatch for the emergency exit was put on too.  Awkward work but did the job.  A big chunk of polystyrene was put in to keep it nice and snug.

Porthole covers were added and some great thin metallic insulation was put in to keep the warm air off the hull.

It was not easy to make progress today.  Moving materials onto the boat was slow going due to heavy snow.  But once on board things progressed well.
