South Rock
I have been trying to find out where South Rock is. The best indication is here. Sadly there is no photo coverage in the sea from Google (maps or earth) which is a shame. But I guess the cost of satellite coverage is too high to cover rocks in the sea.

ReplyDeleteI have found this as the position at where the South Rock ALF's (variously Skua, Osprey and Gannet) were tethered:
54 degrees 14" 32' North
5 degrees 21" 59' West
This puts it three quarters of a mille ENE of the lighthouse, which in fact was built in the wrong place ...!!
